SPC Seniors Week: a tribute to those who taught us everything

At SPC, we believe there are moments worth celebrating. From September 29 to October 5, we open a very special space: the 4th Edition of SPC’s Senior Week. An initiative to recognize, listen to, and support those who have cared for us so many times.

Because technology can also be human

Technology is not a matter of age, but of trust. That’s why we have created solutions that make what’s important easier: staying connected. Our new range of phones ZEUS 2 for seniors and the remote care app SPC Care are examples of this: simple phones with clear screens and large buttons, which also allow children and grandchildren to feel at ease knowing everything is fine. SPC Care is much more than an app: it’s peace of mind for the whole family. Imagine your mother forgets to turn up the phone volume… you can do it remotely. Or your father hasn’t returned from his daily walk yet… you check from the app without needing to call him every five minutes. Or you want to make sure your grandmother has battery before she goes out… just a quick look and done. Freedom for them, peace of mind for you.

Real superheroes

If you think about it, our seniors are like superheroes. They taught us to walk, to read, to never give up… And although they don’t wear capes, they do have powers. This week we want to give back a little of everything they have given us with a very special campaign: “Growing older gives you superpowers. Activate them.”

Old age teaches us to put problems into perspective, to be simpler, live with less, enjoy the little things, listen calmly, be humble… but aging in 2025 can be even better if seniors and their caregivers rely on technology. In this way, besides powers, they will have superpowers: connection, security, vitality, etc.

All these superpowers combined are what drive healthy aging, because a person who feels safe, calm, and confident, knows they are loved, takes care of their emotional, mental, and physical well-being, ages healthily.

In this Senior Week, we celebrate the invisible powers that come with age and, on the other hand, invite you to activate the superpowers that technology provides.

Voices that inspire

This week we will have the participation of key figures who will help us look at active aging from new perspectives:

  • Jana Fernández: wellness, rest, and healthy habits advocate. She will remind us of the importance of self-care at every stage of life.
  • Dominga Habla Sola: content creator, fun and authentic, who shows every day that age doesn’t conflict with laughing at yourself or embracing digital life.
  • Adrià Marcor: communicator and storyteller of real-life stories, able to bring everyday experiences closer to everyone: young and old, small and big.

With them, we want to bring technology closer in a different way: with closeness, empathy, and inspiration.
