Paula Dalli joins the TV Challenges
Can you overcome the challenge? My friend Nerea, another series fanatic, challenged me to take part in the #SmartChallenges Hello! Let me introduce myself: I am Paula Dalli, a reporter and actress. Some of you may have seen me on Disney Channel acting, dancing, or presenting a report. In short, having a great time and dedicating myself to the world of television, one of my great passions. And I say this both as a professional in the field and as a true fan of many series, something I believe many of us share in general and that, in particular, has made it possible for me to tell you about my participation in SPC’s #SmartChallenges. My friend Nerea, who is another series fanatic, as you may have seen recently, challenged me a few days ago to a very fun task. Within SPC’s #SmartChallenges I had to complete a challenge: watch the series “Suburra” in just one weekend. Of course, I didn’t hesitate for a moment and eagerly took over from Nerea. They even offered me the chance to hold a contest on social media so that one of my followers could win the same tablet! Shortly after joining the #SmartChallenges, I received the tablet directly from SPC and began installing all kinds of applications, something I usually do on all my devices but which, in this case, helped me get to know the performance of the SPC Heaven 10.1. Another thing I can’t help but do when I get a new tablet or phone is take millions of photos. And when I say millions, I assure you I’m not exaggerating. For that, I have the best model in the world, my little dog Vanilla, who patiently and stoically endures these photo sessions, as a good pug should. Once the tablet was ready with everything I needed, I started the challenge. Don’t think it was easy: planning a weekend to make the most of the time while having to watch ten one-hour episodes is not something that makes it easy, but it’s true that if you are passionate about this production, meeting the goal is a real pleasure. The series, produced by Netflix in Italy, is a thriller full of plots about political corruption and organized crime. In fact, an Italian friend of mine recommended I watch “Suburra” because, in his words, it is quite realistic. In short, you don’t take your eyes off the screen or blink. Although I’m not very fond of this kind of plot because I prefer sitcoms, I must say I happily completed the challenge and that the tablet surprised me in several ways. On one hand, the device’s connectivity held up spectacularly well. No “freezes” or disconnections, something that has happened to me with other devices. Another technical feature I really liked is the sound. I am a true fan of watching series and, moreover, watching them in bed, just before sleeping and without disturbing anyone. So it is important that the sound is as good as possible, both without headphones and with them. The truth is that, despite how handy the SPC Heaven 10.1 is and its light weight and size, the sound quality is truly enviable compared to similar models from other makers. It was one of the tablet’s surprises. In fact, I have gotten used to using it a lot with Spotify connected to my headphones while doing other tasks on the device. One of the coolest things about my job is that I have to travel often and I have a schedule ahead that won’t let me stop these months and that, on the other hand, will force me to have several idle moments throughout the day between planes and airports. But with the SPC tablet I will have an incredible ally to make those moments pass as quickly and as enjoyably as happened with this #SmartChallenge. It has truly been a smart experience! And you, have you already lived one?
