·         SPC, the Spanish technology brand, announces its presence at MWC 2025 as one of the 50 co-exhibitor companies in the Spain Pavilion, located in Hall 4, 4C30 and 4B40, which will come together to showcase Spain's great potential in the technology field.

·         After the success of the innovative SPC Care project and the SPC POLARIS device launched in 2024, the consumer technology brand will reveal at MWC 2025 the evolution of this service, aligned with its vision of seniors' well-being and their social integration through technological advances.

·         With this announcement, SPC aims to deepen its commitment to healthy aging and continue leading purposeful innovation for elderly people and their environment, based on technological development with the Spanish DNA that characterizes them.

SPC, the Spanish consumer electronics brand, has confirmed its participation in Mobile World Congress 2025 (MWC), one of the most influential technology events worldwide, which will take place from March 3 to 6 in Barcelona. The company will be located once again in the Spain Pavilion (Hall 4, 4C30 and 4B40), an initiative organized by Red.es, a public entity attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Function through the Secretariat of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, which will bring together the leading national companies in the technology sector.

In 2024, the brand already surprised with SPC Care, an innovative app for remote management to control mobile phones for seniors from a caregiver's or family member's smartphone, and SPC POLARIS, the first senior mobile compatible with this application. In 2025, SPC will mark a new technological milestone with the announcement of new developments, features, and use cases aimed at facilitating digital inclusion and promoting healthier aging.

To this end, SPC will present the new technological advances it has been working on over the past months, which will be naturally integrated into its key projects in the senior field. In this way, the company reaffirms its commitment to breaking down digital barriers and promoting the well-being and autonomy of older adults through technology with Spanish DNA.

Healthy aging, SPC's technology purpose for the senior audience

Technology continues to transform the lives of millions of people worldwide; however, for older adults, the digital divide still represents a significant obstacle to enjoying the benefits of digitalization in their daily lives. This is highlighted by the recent “Study on the use of technology among our seniors” conducted by SPC, which concludes that nine out of ten people over 70 years old (88%) require assistance to perform basic tasks on their mobile phones.

In recent years, SPC has made this challenge one of its main priorities and has committed to putting technological innovation at the service of the elderly, creating meaningful and impactful products that help thousands of older adults in their daily lives.

Since its inception, the brand has worked on developing accessible, intuitive technological solutions specifically designed for the needs of older adults. Thanks to this, SPC has established itself as the benchmark in this segment in Spain and already holds a 40% market share of all mobile phones sold in our country.

This commitment to bringing technology closer to older adults extends to an ecosystem of devices designed to improve the lives of senior users, including tablets such as SPC GRAVITY 3 4G SENIOR EDITION, smartwatches such as SMARTEE 4G SENIOR and solutions for home telephony, adapting to the different needs of older adults, promoting their autonomy, healthy aging, and a closer connection with their loved ones. In this way, SPC breaks down digital barriers and ensures that technology is within reach of all generations.
