More than a talkative and boastful superhero
Deadpool's sarcastic style has created unconditional fans all over the world. And it seems that, after Deadpool 2 premiered in Spain, the most mouthy and boastful superhero in the Marvel universe has come to stay.
In fact, Deadpool returns to the big screen after serving us in his first installment a bizarre love story, but, after all, a very tender one.
On this second occasion, in Deadpool 2, the superhero returns with the intention of saving a boy (Julian Dennison) from the hands of a villain named Cable (Josh Brolin), who apparently, to make matters worse, is the son of Cyclops (one of the members of the X-Men).
In this new sequel we will not only be able to enjoy the antics of Wade Wilson (Deadpool) -iplayed by Ryan Reynolds-, but we will have the privilege of watching how the X-Force, which for many fans still represents a cheap copy of the X-Men. The X-Force squad carries out the bloodiest and darkest missions of the X-Men, so it should not surprise us that Deadpool leads them for a season.
At the same time, during the movie we will be able to enjoy a bunch of jokes in pure Deadpool style: quips, swear words, and outbursts that make this superhero the rebel of the team Marvel.
Among these jests stand out, for example, the mockery of the DC universe (the competition) for the more modest success of their movies, although in reality one of the keys to Deadpool's success is his ability to laugh at himself.
Learn a little more about Deadpool
However, despite the success achieved by the first installment of the movie and which will surely be repeated with this second one, Deadpool remains one of the most unknown superheroes (or antiheroes) in the Marvel world. Also one of the most recent.
That's why we leave you here a list of the most geeky and curious facts that you probably don't know about the most rebellious and rogue superhero of recent times:

The origin of his name: Deadpool literally means “dead pool.” It is the result of an experiment to see if Wolverine's healing factor (X-Men) could be implanted to create a super soldier. Wade Wilson decided to undergo this test knowing he suffered from a terminal cancer, and by surviving the brutal research he earned the nickname Deadpool, “it is said and rumored” that it is a nickname referring to all the dead people who came before him.
-
Returning to this first fact, it can be said that Deadpool is, thanks to this experiment, almost immortal. He has, as a superpower, the ability to regenerate any part of his body after all kinds of attacks he may suffer or has already suffered. This includes when he is chopped up, stabbed, blown up, or set on fire—things that, as we see in the movies, happen in his daily life more often than it seems.
-
This very interesting capacity for regeneration and potential healing, combined with Deadpool's skill at flirting with anything that moves, has been responsible for spreading the rumor that the antihero character might be omnisexual or pansexual. There are even certain rumors and gossip among his legions of fans who have thought that Deadpool might have the ability to create, as needed, the sexual organs he requires at any given moment thanks to his regeneration ability.
-
Breaks the “fourth wall” usual in cinema: Deadpool loves to make brief screen appearances, during which he engages in conversations with the audience watching him. In his moments of reflection or quick jokes to the camera, Deadpool mixes pop culture references and intersperses them with jokes and lots of dark humor.
-
His comments are his best weapon: Deadpool's wordplay manages to make his opponents nervous, inciting them to fight at the most unfavorable moments for them just so he can shut up or provoke a fight at the most unexpected instant. This is where Deadpool forges his true identity, as he has no power other than regeneration and his gift of gab to defeat his enemies, who are many and very powerful. If we add to this that he is one of the superheroes who defeats the evil Thanos… but that is another story.
