SPC presents MAGNES 3, its most versatile smart camera: wireless, with IP65 rating and magnetic base for indoor and outdoor use

When we are far from home, we can feel uneasy if we don’t have news from our house. Burglaries, illegal occupations, possible incidents – floods, fires, weather events… – can keep us awake at night. Fortunately, SPC MAGNES 3 can become our sentinel 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, thanks to the fact that we can receive images of our home on our phone, wherever we are, through the SPC IoT app. Aware of our need to know what is happening at home when we are not there, SPC, the Spanish technology company specialized in developing smart electronic products, launches MAGNES 3, a 100% wireless smart camera (which also works with a power adapter) suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It has an IP65 certification and a magnetic base that gives it great versatility to be placed at different angles and on various surfaces. SPC MAGNES 3 fully charges in just one night to offer up to three months of battery life with average use. Additionally, thanks to its full integration with the SPC IoT app, we can access real-time images from our smartphone, take snapshots, record videos, and communicate by voice thanks to its two-way audio technology. We can also integrate it with Alexa through a skill, or with Google Assistant via Google Home SPC IoT. Its installation is very simple, as it includes a magnetic base that allows us to orient it at the desired tilt angle and move it easily. This base holds the camera very securely for easy and quick placement on any type of surface, whether on a wall or directly on a table or shelf. For extra secure mounting, a third installation option allows attaching the camera to a threaded mount. In short, three installation and usage options to adapt to any home environment at any time.   SPC MAGNES 3: Full HD images, two-way audio, night vision, and wide viewing angle Technically, SPC MAGNES 3 offers Full HD 1080p capture and recording quality for color images (during the day) and high definition. Its field of view allows it to record not only the front plane but covers a wide 130º viewing angle. Also, with its built-in two-way audio system, we can receive sound from the house and also transmit it when we are not there to, for example, simulate our presence, communicate with someone near the camera or a family member, or, why not, with our pet. Among its most notable features, it has a night vision mode that allows it to capture clear images even at 10 meters distance. Its motion detection system activates video recording as soon as it detects presence; however, when we are at home, we can schedule this function and deactivate it from the phone to avoid continuous notifications. To save all recorded images, it includes a Micro SD slot (card not included) supporting up to 128 GB and offers the option to store recordings in the cloud through a paid service. If you choose to take full advantage of its wireless capability, its excellent 9600 mAh battery allows it to operate without power for three months.
