If you are passionate about electronic dance music, you cannot miss the best annual festival: Tomorrowland Winter. Every year, Tomorrowland features the most outstanding artists of electronic dance music who are able to gather over 1,400,000 people from all over the world to enjoy their music. This year, a new member joins this family and does so in the heart of winter.
What is Tomorrowland Winter
It is a festival held in winter where the best composers and artists of electronic and dance music from around the world come together. The first edition of this festival is very recent; it was held in 2005 with a summer festival that featured, among others: David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, and Coone.
Its evocative name means land of tomorrow and its stages display a futuristic fantasy aesthetic. It also has a residential area for camping called DreamVille and hundreds of activities related to electronic music. Tomorrowland Winter is the winter edition of the festival and it combines winter sports and music.
This year, Tomorrowland Winter will be held during the month of March and will last 7 days: from March 9 to 16. Attendees can choose, among the available passes, whether they want to attend 4 days (from March 12 to 16) or enjoy the full festival. Added to this are complementary activities, such as artist presentations that will take place between March 13 and 15, 2019.
This year the event takes place in the town of Alpe d’Huez, a dreamlike place located in the heart of the French Alps where you can enjoy the best music in an unparalleled setting. The stages will be located in Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski, making it the ideal occasion for lovers of winter sports.
If you want to attend Tomorrowland Winter you can already get your tickets. If you choose the 4-day pass, you can get it from a price of 685 per person, but if you are one of those who want to enjoy everything and see all the artists participating this year, you can purchase your 7-day pass from 825 euros per person.
All passes include access to the slopes and complementary activities for attendees. Also, with each pass you will also book lodging during the festival and your ski pass. If you want to attend the festival, hurry! Only 30,000 tickets have been put on sale.
Who will perform at Tomorrowland Winter? The lineup!
Tomorrowland Winter has been the latest of the festivals to join those held under the same name and whose goal is to gather fans of the best dance music from around the world. This year’s theme will be The Hymn of the Frozen Lotus and it will bring together the best artists from the electronic dance scene.
The lineup for the new edition has already been confirmed, so you cannot miss this celebration featuring some of your favorite artists such as: Martin Garrix, DJ Snake, Steve Aoki, and Afrojack.
