Are you joining #learnfromme?
That TikTok is here to stay seems to be unquestioned now. Now, it is also evolving towards a more professional side thanks to the movement #learnfromme. Leisure and knowledge meet in the same place: on the social network that is a hit among the youngest, TikTok.

Modernizing the Spanish sayings, “the letter enters with TikTok.” Until now, we were used to seeing funny videos on this social network, or viral challenges or new filters that the network was creating for the tastes and delight of its users, now we can also attend mini-courses on different disciplines.

Under the hashtag #learnfromme (#123learn in Spanish), we will find videos from users all over the world sharing their knowledge on a specific topic with other users. There are variants of this initiative in Spanish with great success in our country, such as #aprendecontiktok. The name couldn’t be clearer!

The success of this type of projects on social networks lies in many factors, plus a pinch of luck. But what is clear is that young people will be more open to learning if someone speaks to them in their own language (understanding language as the typical slang of each generation) and reaches them through their communication channels. Faced with this reality, those who are no longer so young have had to step up and modernize their teaching tools and methods. That is why it is not difficult to see teachers giving classes on their specialty on TikTok.
With the end of classes, if this summer we have to review some subject or we have simply set ourselves the goal of learning something new, this social network can be a very interesting, useful, and simple way to achieve our goal.
