High-intensity exercise and guaranteed fun!
Doing sports and breaking records with a device like our SPC Smartee Sport 4 is an ambitious project that, however, we can face with the good humor of Rubén García.
Don’t miss the challenges Rubén has faced in our #SmartChallenge series! What better way to improve than by having fun?
For some time now, the Instagram profile of Rubén García -@rvbengarcia- has sparked the curiosity of many and the habit of visiting his content for many others. Few profiles as entertaining as his can be found on the Web, serving as a link between the passion for sport and pure enjoyment when it comes to growing in all things related to physical performance.
Rubén, who did not hesitate for a moment to accept our #SmartChallenge after seeing the one from @Go_miriam, tells us where this genuine passion and devotion for sport comes from: “As a child I was never very sporty, but I was always drawn to food and was the typical chubby boy in class. And I say chubby -not just a little plump, in a kind way- because back then I was teased a lot for it. But the time came to end the teasing and say ‘enough is enough,’ and I tried to find a way to change by looking at my brother, who at that time did a lot of gym and had many sports magazines whose covers showed a lifestyle to follow.”
The pleasure of training
After a period of trying out countless sports between the ages of 13 and 18, the time came when our collaborator began to go to the gym more seriously and realized two things: “I loved being in great shape and, moreover, I really enjoyed sharing my experience with others, who asked me questions and were fully interested in my routines. And so it has been until today, always with the aim of achieving a perfect balance where all kinds of sports have a place, as long as they are approached from a healthy balance.”
Instagram is the platform where Rubén feels most comfortable sharing his routines and experiences, often starting many of his videos with the word family, because “there I can be myself and, for that reason, I try to share pleasant, entertaining, and useful content for my followers, related to sport and the way of seeing life.” And, if we add to all this a taste for imagery inherited from his father, a professional photographer, we have the perfect ingredients to find a top-notch profile to face a #SmartChallenge.

First impressions with our SPC Smartee Sport 4
Rubén’s words leave no doubt: “The first thing that pleasantly surprised me was the smartwatch’s notification center. Having everything centralized with such smooth operation seemed fantastic to me, especially since until now I had only trained with sport bands, so my first experience with a smart watch was quite a surprise.”
Another detail that caught the attention of our protagonist in this especially fun #SmartChallenge is the accuracy of the heart rate monitor, something that helps him greatly to monitor himself when doing high-intensity exercise. This is precisely something we could verify when we saw Rubén doing a kilometer of lunges along the Ramblas or exercising his chest muscles with his mouth full of cookies while saying Pamplona.
Technological power and aesthetic taste
Something we often forget is that, although something is aimed at offering the highest performance while practicing sport, we do not have to sacrifice an attractive appearance: “Considering that we are talking about an electronic product with an excellent value for money -priced at 99.90 €-, I think its look is a great success, also perfect for daily use within our style.”

A smart and trained watch
The battery capacity has also been a surprise for our collaborator. Considering that the SPC Smartee Sport 4 has a battery life of up to nine hours with GPS, up to five days with Bluetooth activated, and up to 7 days on standby, “you really don’t have to worry about whether the battery is running low most of the time and can focus 100% on training.”
In short, Rubén’s experience with the SPC Smartee Sport 4 has been fully satisfactory, and he does not hesitate to “put it through a series of continuous challenges every week from now on.” Surely our new smart watch knows how to keep up with our friend’s pace.
