The device continues the path set by JASPER in 2020, SPC’s first keypad phone with direct access to WhatsApp and the KaiOS operating system, which allows easy access to some of the most popular communication and entertainment apps.
JASPER 2 4G is compatible with all hearing aids, including those with T-coil position, which enables the device to detect only magnetic signals, thus isolating all external noise. Its high M3/T3 compatibility guarantees perfect hearing during calls for users who need these devices. Likewise, it features a powerful internal speaker that reaches 95 dB in volume.
With direct access to WhatsApp and several pre-installed applications
Like its predecessor, the mobile phone has a dedicated button to enter WhatsApp, making it easy to access the most popular mobile messaging app, with the ability to make voice calls and communicate simply with family and friends. Additionally, JASPER 2 4G comes pre-installed with other essential mobile applications such as Google Maps, YouTube, and Facebook.
Its operating system also allows downloading apps from the KaiOS Store, a platform developed for downloading easy-to-use apps that maximize the potential of phones for seniors like JASPER 2 4G. All applications can be downloaded via Wi-Fi or 4G, both technologies supported by the device.
Moreover, JASPER 2 4G improves on the previous model’s features, such as its rear camera, which reaches 5 megapixels, perfect for taking photos that you can save in its internal memory of 8 GB, expandable by up to 32 GB more via micro SD cards.
Designed for our seniors
To facilitate use, its keys and numbers are large to provide maximum accuracy in pressing and perfect visibility. It also includes an SOS button on the back that, when activated, automatically makes three cycles of five consecutive calls to emergency contacts preconfigured by the user. It also features a button to directly access the contacts list (up to 1,000 entries).
This is a flip phone, meaning it has a cover that can be configured to answer or hang up calls when opened or closed. Its inner screen measures 2.8’’ (QVGA 320 x 240 pixels), while the outer screen is 1.44’’ (TFT 128 x 128 pixels). JASPER 2 4G has a manageable size of 128 x 57 x 20 mm and weighs 127 g, and it can be charged on a convenient dock that will keep it always within reach.
It also includes a calculator, calendar, alarm, and flashlight. Additionally, it can be configured in multiple languages.
