How to disable the SPC PULSETAG2

This article relates to the SPC PULSETAG2 tag model and Google's Find Hub application.

The SPC PULSETAG2 can be disabled so that it stops sharing its location. This means it will stop sending reports to Google's Find Hub network and the owner will stop receiving updates on its location. 

If you receive a message on your Android device indicating that an SPC PULSETAG2 has been detected near you and you are not familiar with this device, you can make this tag sound through the system notification you have received. After locating the device, follow the steps below to deactivate it. The owner will no longer receive updates on the location of this SPC PULSETAG2 and it will no longer trigger unknown tracker alerts.

 

How to Disable:

  • Locate the button on the front of the SPC PULSETAG2.
  • Press the button three times. Then press and hold the button for three seconds. Four beeps will sound.

How to Re-enable:

  • Locate the button on the front of the SPC PULSETAG2
  • Press the button once. Two beeps will sound.
