This Privacy Policy describes how SMART PRODUCTS CONNECTION (SPC) collects, uses, and shares information in relation to the SPC Easy application Mode .

1. What is Easy Mode?

SPC Easy Mode is a launcher exclusive designed for certain SPC devices. Its purpose is to simplify the user experience by providing a menu with larger icons and customizable shortcuts.

2. Information We Collect and How We Use It

The SPC Easy application Mode processes and, in certain cases, stores the following information to provide its functionalities and allow integration with SPC Care:

System Settings: So that you can customize the experience of launcher (such as icon size, font size, and enabling/disabling the Wi-Fi...etc.), the Application accesses and modifies these settings on your device. These configuration data are collected and stored on our servers. Their storage is necessary to allow the SPC Care application to remotely access and modify these settings, facilitating device management.
Installed Applications: So that you can rearrange the icons on your home screen and so that SPC Care can manage the layout of the same, the Application queries the list of applications installed on your device. This information about installed applications is also collected and stored on our servers. It is used exclusively for personalizing the launcher and to allow remote reorganization through SPC Care.
Contacts: If you decide to add contacts as favorites to appear with large icons, the Application accesses your local contacts. This information is used only to display the contacts you have selected in the launcher. Your favorite contacts' data is processed locally on your device and is not stored on our servers nor shared with third parties, except in the context of linking with SPC Care, as explained below.
Location: If you grant us location permission on your device, the Application will collect and process information about your device's GPS location. This location data is collected and stored on our servers. The main purpose of this collection is to allow the SPC Care application to remotely access and display the location of your SPC device. Additionally, in the future, this information may be used for additional features in SPC Care, such as notifying if the device user leaves a predefined safe zone. We will not use your location for any other purpose without your explicit consent.
Integration with Google services (Contact Management)
- The application SPC Easy Mode can offer an optional remote contact management functionality, designed to allow an authorized helper to access, modify, or update the user's contacts on their device. This function integrates with Google services and requires the user to log in via OAuth, granting the application explicit permission to access their Google account.
- By enabling this integration, the user authorizes the application to read, edit and delete contacts associated with your Google account. This includes names, phone numbers and contact photos. Access is made exclusively to offer the remote contact management functionality and does not imply access to other data of the Google account.
- The use of this integration is completely optional. The user can use SPC Easy Mode without activating the remote contact management service and, at any time, revoke the granted access both from the settings of the app SPC Easy Mode on the device as from your Google account settings (at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions).
- The application uses the granted permissions only while the session is active and never stores the account data or user credentials locally or permanently. Access is managed through the standard OAuth security mechanisms provided by Google, ensuring that the user maintains full control over their information.
- The user should be aware that their contact data may include personal or confidential information (for example, names or third-party phone numbers). Therefore, it is recommended to activate this functionality only if you understand and accept the scope of access granted to the application and the remote assistance service.

3. Linking with SPC Care

SPC Easy Mode allows you to link your device with the application SPC Care, also developed by SMART PRODUCTS CONNECTION. If you decide link Easy Mode with SPC Care:

Share and Synchronize Information: By linking both applications, the information collected and stored on our servers by Easy Mode (that is, system settings such as icon size, font size, status of Wi-Fi, the list of installed applications, the device location...) will be accessible to SPC Care. This allows remote control of these functions through SPC Care.
Also, the favorite contacts you have configured in Easy Mode will be made available to SPC Care to allow its management or remote viewing, if this functionality is present in SPC Care.

Important: The SPC Care application has its own Privacy Policy. We strongly recommend reviewing the SPC Care Privacy Policy to fully understand how your information is handled when the applications are linked.

4. Sharing Information with Third Parties

The configuration data (system settings and installed applications) and location stored on our servers are only shared with the SPC Care application to enable the functionalities described in the previous section. We do not share this information with any other third party outside SMART PRODUCTS CONNECTION, unless required by law.

5. Information Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect the information under our control against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This includes, where applicable, data encryption, firewalls, and access controls. However, no data transmission over the Internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We will retain the information that we collect while lasts the business relationship you have with SMART PRODUCTS CONNECTION in order to continue providing SPC Easy services Mode and SPC Care. Once this relationship ends, we will strive to delete your data stored on our servers in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable legal obligations.

In accordance with applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
