This Privacy Policy describes how SMART PRODUCTS CONNECTION (SPC) collects, uses, and shares information related to the SPC Discovery app.

2. Scope of application

This Privacy Policy describes how SPC processes the personal data of users who use SPC Discovery, a launcher for Android devices.

This policy applies exclusively to SPC Discovery. Other SPC products, apps, or services will be governed by their own privacy policies when expressly indicated.

3. Data collected by SPC Discovery

SPC Discovery is designed to operate mainly locally on the device. Depending on the app configuration and usage, we may process the following data:

3.1 Data processed directly on the device

List of installed applications (necessary to display and organize apps).

User preferences (screen layout, icons, accessibility settings, language).

Basic interactions with the launcher (for example, app or widget selection).

This data is not transmitted to external servers and remains on the user's device.

3.2 Automatically collected data (if applicable)

Depending on the app version and integrated services:

Technical device data (model, Android version).

Anonymous or aggregated usage data (for example, app crashes or performance metrics).

This data is used solely to improve the stability and experience of the application.

4. Personal data we collect

SPC Discovery does not require user registration nor collects personally identifiable information such as name, address, phone number, or email.

However, the launcher may handle the following data in a limited way:

4.1. Technical and usage data

  • Device model
  • Android operating system version
  • Device language and region
  • Technical information necessary for the proper functioning of the launcher

This data is used exclusively for technical purposes and service improvement and does not allow personal identification of the user.

4.2. Application data

SPC Discovery may access the list of installed applications only to organize, display, and facilitate their use from the launcher.
This information is not transmitted to SPC servers or third parties.

5. Device permissions

The launcher may require certain Android system permissions, such as:

  • Access to the default launcher
  • Access to basic device information
  • Access to installed applications

These permissions are essential for the launcher's functionality and are not used for purposes other than those described.

6. Purpose of processing

The processed data is used for:

  • Ensuring the proper functioning of SPC Discovery
  • Improving the user experience
  • Resolving errors and technical issues

Under no circumstances will data be used for:

Users can exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, restriction of processing, and portability by sending a request to privacy@onspc.com.

They may also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

10. Changes to the privacy policy

SPC may update this Privacy Policy to adapt it to legal or functional changes. Updates will be communicated through the app or by other reasonable means.
