FORTUNE 2 4G retains the most practical features for senior users, such as large letters and numbers, very loud ringtone volume, an SOS button, and SPC’s Smart Help intelligent assistance functions, among others, and enhances them with 4G connectivity and HD voice quality in calls.
Following the launch of JASPER 2 4G, SPC continues to strengthen its commitment to incorporating these advanced features in its new ranges of mobile phones for senior users, and now, with the arrival of FORTUNE 2 4G, it updates one of the company’s most iconic families.
SPC, the Spanish technology company specialized in consumer electronics and a leader in mobile telephony, reinforces its focus on devices aimed at older adults and equips its new senior models with 4G and HD voice. In this context, the company launches SPC FORTUNE 2 4G, renewing one of its most iconic series with new practical features. This new model arrives just weeks after the recent launch of another of its best-known phones for seniors, SPC JASPER 2 4G.
On this occasion, 4G technology ensures greater network coverage and superior connectivity. Additionally, FORTUNE 2 4G also supports high-quality HD voice, guaranteeing better communication during phone calls. This technology offers an enhanced sound experience thanks to the use of wideband audio, which reduces background noise and creates clearer audio connections.
Assistance and safety features designed for senior users
As is usual in SPC phones, FORTUNE 2 4G includes various assistance and safety options specially designed for older adults. An example is the inclusion of its SOS button: the user only needs to press and hold it for a few seconds for the device to start calling predefined emergency numbers (up to five). The phone calls each number in consecutive order and also sends an emergency message; if there is no answer, it cycles to the next number until someone picks up.
It also features an extra-loud ringtone volume of 102 decibels, perfect for people with hearing difficulties, and includes SPC’s three advanced Smart Help intelligent assistance functions, which help keep a close eye on the situation of our seniors: remote configuration, smart notifications, and automatic ringtone volume adjustment.
Thanks to remote configuration, a trusted contact of the user can, remotely and via SMS codes, activate and deactivate the SOS button, set emergency numbers, increase the ringtone volume, or add contacts. Through smart notifications, if the phone detects something is wrong, it sends an alert to that trusted contact. Regarding automatic ringtone volume adjustment, if the same number calls again within three minutes after a missed call, the phone raises the ringtone to maximum volume. Once the call is answered, the volume returns to its initial level.
Compact design and practicality for older adults
FORTUNE 2 4G is designed with everything a phone needs to facilitate usability for seniors. It comes equipped with FM radio, which can be listened to without headphones (and also with them, via its 3.5 mm jack), as it includes an internal antenna to receive the signal. It also includes Dual SIM, hands-free, flashlight, a contacts list for 500 entries, “blacklist” function, Bluetooth 5.0, a 0.08 MP rear camera with flash, as well as the possibility to expand its 128 MB of internal storage via micro SD cards up to 64 GB. Additionally, its 1000 mAh lithium battery provides autonomy for several days.
FORTUNE 2 4G also stands out for its lightweight and compact design, thanks to its weight of 74 grams and its dimensions of 112 x 52 x 13 mm, plus it features large buttons that allow better visibility and greater ease of use.
